About the project

The project IDIPOWER contributes to a reorientation of the support services role in order to best meet the needs and goals of persons with disabilities, becoming as much independent as possible. 
Harmonised methodologies and tools, based on best practices of support systems, will be developed. Cooperative learning approaches, involving people with disabilities, trainers and families, will be integrated to the support systems and ICT measures will be used to support efficient information, communication and cooperation in this context.

The IDIPOWER Project arises as a result of the union of 5 European organizations involved in the development of the support models to the persons: AMICA  y COPAVA (Spain), CERCIOEIRAS (Portugal), HURT (Croatia) y CUDV DRAGA (Slovenia), as well as a Technological Centre specialised in learning and collaborative methologies in the development and application of ICTS to facilitate its implementation, in which also working persons with disabilities on the basis of their quality of life: IAT (Germany).
AMICA is the entity responsible for coordinating the project along with the support of COPAVA.
AMICA is a non-profit organization established in 1984 whose mission is to discover the capabilities that exist in every person and their limitations in supporting, encouraging the greatest possible autonomy, enjoyment of basic rights and citizenship responsibilities and participation in the community.
As a vision,  Amica aims to support persons to develop their projects within the community through innovative actions.
From their experience along with the rest of partners, starting from the analysis of the different support models that are being developed, it is possible to create an innovative methodology for collaborative work. This methodology will enable raise awareness and promote examples of good practice in which persons with disabilities, they may develop their own life project, along with the support their families and professionals.

Project meetings

Ljubljana, Slovenia  Oct 26, 2015 - Oct 27, 2015

The Consortium partners met for the 3rd time in Ljubljana from October 26-27. One of the crucial topics of the meeting was Development of Training Program.
Hosts of the meeting CUDV Draga kindly organized visits to their Institution.

Promotional activities

In November, IDIPOWER Project is defended through the presentation of a poster in the III state Congress on alterations of behavior. Redesigning support to people. 
(Manresa, Spain).
Project activities were presented during World Occupational therapy day 2015. celebration activities of the Croatian Association of occcupational therapists in Zagreb, Osijek and Mali LoĊĦinj
